League of Women Voters

PROJECT OVERVIEW
This League of Women Voters project created a button campaign that makes civic participation feel immediate and visible for younger voters, with concise messages designed for small-format wearables.
CASE STUDY
is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization in the United States. Founded in 1920, its ongoing major activities include registering voters, providing voter information, and advocating for voting rights. For this project, the LWV of Orange County, Florida is seeking button designs to cater to young voters. These buttons will help spread awareness of making a difference in change to the world. By having a voice and doing something about it means progress. Climate change is still a struggle in politics and with the right people in place, we the people can make that change by voting. The Challenge The biggest challenge for this project is to fit a ginormous message in a 1.5 inch & a 2.5 inch button. The design needs to stand out and convey a message effectively with a small glance. The Goal The goal is to be able to attract young voters to want to take part in the movement by wearing buttons, stickers & apparel.
